It's no secret that the 2022 season was a disaster for Russell Wilson.
He went through struggles that he had never gone through before because he looked like a shell of his former self.
He finished the season completing only 60.5% of his passes for 3,524 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Part of this was certainly due to the performance but according to Ryan Leaf
another part of it was because Trevor Moawad, one of Wilson's closest friends, had passed away.
Wilson never seemed to get over the loss and it greatly affected his game.
He will be hoping to return in a big way in 2023 as the Broncos try to become a contender.
They have not made the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl during the 2015–16 season.
